Our birth doula services are designed to help your family achieve the birth experience you desire by providing physical and emotional support during your birthing, as well as mentoring, education and advocacy during your pregnancy, as you navigate the policies and procedures of your birth environment.
Well before birth day we’ll visit about your ownership of this experience. We’ll talk about how your selection of a birth location and a birth team can enhance your birthing. We’ll attend a visit with your Midwife or OB, knowing that meeting ahead of time encourages a comfortable and trusting environment for everyone on birth day. We’ll work together to explore your feelings about roles and responsibilities for birth day, and we’ll work toward managing expectations so that you are able to fully engage in this magical moment.
From the moment your birthing establishes itself and you request the support of your doula, until you’re settled into your first night’s sleep as a new family, we are in service to your family – recognizing that the continuous support we provide you and your partner allows the two of you to engage fearlessly in the experience of welcoming your new bebe into the world. We know your Birth Day wishes by heart, and we fully support you and your partner in the decisions you make for your family.
